Well, the Christmas decorations are down, all the beautifully lit garlands are gone, and my house is bare. It took about 7 hours to get it all packed (28 boxes).
Vacation has ended and it's time to return to work - a new year is already well on its way.
I don't know what God has in store for me, this year, but I know I want it! I want my life to be yielded to Him in all ways and in every situation. I want my flesh to 'die out', so that His Spirit can have full, unchallenged reign over my thoughts, my actions - my life. I want my actions to reflect His actions; I want to do as he would have done. I want my heart to be moved with compassion for the things His heart was moved by. I want to see people through His eyes and love them with His love. I want to be obedient to His last direction to His followers by sharing the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ with my world.
At the start of this new year, I present a blank page, waiting for the rest of my lifestory to be continued by the most creative author I know.
I can't wait to see how it will turn out!

28 boxes????? I actually put up my Snow Village stuff and thought I was going all out - 3 boxes! Your house was beautiful though, from the pictures.
My house is still decorated .... with snow like dust. Gotta fix that today, or tomorrow. Or rather today AND tomorrow. There's more than enough to share.

Oh, no. I have enough 'snow-like' dust to start a ski resort! I don't need more, thank you. This is the dustiest house I have ever lived in. I just cannot figure out HOW it gets in so fast and so thick.
Barb,
A resounding Amen to this post, sweet sis! A blank page and letting the Lord fill it!
May the Lord bless you, sweet one. Happy Tuesday to you!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog and for stopping by!
Wow.
28 boxes and my poor California self may have thrown away two cards. So sad. I should strive to do more. ha
